MaryAnne's touchscreen

This is the touchscreen that ran my stereo.
A Xenarc model 700TSV. 7 inch 800 x 480 touchscreen.
Here it sits in the space left behind by the factory stereo. The dash plastic has a notch cut out as I originally had the screen positioned more vertically and jammed into the hole angled towards the driver a bit. As it is taller than the factory stereo, some additional plastic had to be cut.
This ended up shining way too much light in my eyes at night and had a tendency to fall out as HotGlue was NOT a good structural adhesive.
Here the screen is wedged in, but also resting on an "hook" made of bent heavy metal strap. This was bolted into a threaded insert in the bottom of the display and the other end hooked onto a lip of plastic on the dash. Between them this display was rock solid.
