Here we see the plastic channel at the top of the door which the lock post sits / rattles inside.
The top edge of the door is at the bottom of the image.
I added felt to both left and right sides of the channel to silence the loud buzz of the lock post moving side to side, this worked, but added so much drag on the lock that it was hard to move by hand, and the power locks would barely budge the lock.
In my second attempt I removed one of these felt pads.
