I knew the locks rattled side to side easily and less so in/out of the door.
My first attempt tried to not add too much thickness to the lock post by only adding felt to the sunken area on the back of the post.
This did not work as this did not add enough thickness - the lock post still rattled in / out - but felt hitting plastic sounded different than the old plastic on plastic sound.
